On Friday after 5 weeks of going to Main Event, the gig was up. I was hired to render my services as a makeup artist for Bacchanal Fridays, on a selected group of girls - hired by certain brands (Heineken, Redstripe Light and Smirnoff). It was fun and of course as with this job, varying personalities came to the fore, and needless to say they were not only fun - but easy to work with.
I was not able to take pics, due to a tight schedule, but hey I found some pics of my work, of a few of the nights through Smirnoff's social media.
And one personal pic, I got ever got a chance take.
So on Friday, I had to go in earlier to collect my cheque (yay me) and got a chance to take some pics of me at work ;).
It had started to rain before I headed out from home, so I threw on my Mommy's sweater (RIP). Granny sweaters are one of the raves right now and this was my mommy's favourite sweater too :).
The outdoor environment at Main Event is very homely. At the entrance, this beautiful pond is the focal point once you enter. The property has a natural pristineness to it, despite the few elements of work related items in the mix of things. An aquascape, along with a varying display of flowers and animal fixtures, has made this one of my favourite places to go to - when it comes to going on the job.
